Reinauer Transporation Companies (RTC) is a full serivce in marine
transportation company dedicated to providing an efficient and professional service to our
clients, a safe healthful workplace for all employees, and an enivornmental commitment to an
incident-free standard of performance.
The Goals of All RTC Employees:
- ZERO INJURIES
- ZERO INCIDENTS
- ZERO POLLUTION
The safety of persons, the vessel, and the environment are to be given the greatest
consideration in reaching any decision, or in the undertaking of any operation.
A primary responsibility of every Captain (Tugs and Barges) is the safety and well-being
of their fellow crewmembers. No Captain may ever be relieved of this responsibility.
The safe operation of vessels depends on observation of applicable laws, rules, regulations
and established safety procedures for all personnel. While the responsibility for enforcing
the aforementioned requirements rest largely with the Captain, it is a matter of concern
to all personnel to see they are observed. All shoreside personnel as well share this responsibility.
